Q:
What
happens if the weather is bad?
A: We will do our
best to ensure that the day is enjoyable regardless of the weather.
If it is pouring rain or lightening we will take a break until the
harsh weather passes. Otherwise we encourage you to wear weather
appropriate clothing to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible
during your experience.

Q:
How
many participants can this activity cater for?
A: We can cater for
groups as low as six on our Corporate packages and ten is a minimum
on all other options. There is no limit on group size, but ideally
anywhere fewer than 100 participants is easily accommodated.

Q:
What do we actually shoot at and what type of
firearms and ammunition do we use?
A:
All the shotguns are current
Beretta 12 gauge shotgun. Beretta
are widely recognised as the best shotguns in the world.
Some of the guns are the actual firearms
used by Russell and Lauryn in their Olympic and Commonwealth Games
competition. Their value ranges from $3,000 all the way up to
$35,000 per shotgun. We only use low recoil competition target
ammunition.

Q:
Do you need a shooters licence to do this
activity?
A:
No firearms licence is required. No
previous shooting experience is needed and indeed encouraged. In
some states a temporary police firearms licence form will need to be
filled prior to the activity.

Q:
Is there an age limit and is it for males only?
A: There
is a minimum age limit of twelve years. Gender is no limitation.
Females have on many occasions indeed out- performed their male
counterparts during the competition section of the activity.

Q:
Do the firearms recoil hard against your shoulder?
A: We
have firearms for women, left and right handed shooters which help
to keep the perceived recoil to a minimum.

Q:
Is there any instruction provided?
A: All
of our days begin with a firearms safety instruction demonstration
and then a basic practical demonstration on how to hold a firearm
and shoot some relatively easy clay targets. As the day progresses
more difficult shots are introduced.

Q:
Who actually conducts the day?
A:
All days are conducted by triple
Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist,
Lauryn Mark and depending on the package undertaken, Olympic
Gold Medallist, World Champion and OAM
Russell Mark. For groups above 18 participants extra qualified
instructors, mostly Australian Team members are used as coaches to
assist.

Q:
Is this activity safe?
A: All
shooting is undertaken within the confines of an un-inhibiting
safety cage. All firearms are loaded and unloaded by a qualified
instructor. There has never been an accident of any kind at any of
our days over the past decade. All safety equipment such as safety
glasses and ear protection is provided.

What insurance is provided?
A: All participants are covered under our Public
Liability Insurance Policy. A copy of this policy is available on
request.

Q:
Is there a competition with prizes?
A: Yes.
Our days are split into two halves. The first part providing a "warm
up" with basic instruction then all our days have a competition to
determine who the best shooter is. Depending on the package taken
prizes are for the best team, overall individual winner, second and
third, best lady and of course the worst! All competitors get a
personally signed individual scorecard as a record of their
participation on the day.

catering an option?
A:
Food and drink options are
available on all of our packages.
Motivational speaking is also
available.

Q:
What days of the week is the activity available and how
long does it take for the activity to be completed?
A: The activity is available seven days a week. As
an example a group of ten may take two hours and a group of 50 may
take up to three hours. However, time can be structured upon the client’s
wishes.

A:
Corporate Shooting is available in all States and Territories in

Q:
What attire should I wear?
A: Comfortable
clothes and footwear such as sand shoes are encouraged. Thongs,
singlet tops on males and camouflage army attire is prohibited. Sun
glasses and caps are useful. Jackets with big collars are
discouraged as they make mounting the shotgun into the shoulder
correctly a problem.

Q:
Can we consume alcohol during the activity?
A: We
enforce a strict "ZERO BLOOD ALCOHOL" policy. No alcohol is to be
consumed before or during the activity. Any suspicion of any
consumption of alcohol will result in the participant not being able
to handle a firearm. At most venues bar facilities are available at
the completion of the activity. At our Corporate events the first
round of drinks is provided free of charge.
